The Antelope Valley Springer Spaniel Club holds an annual field trial in October and occasional fun days and water tests. The activities are centered in Southern California. For more information, contact Tony Zablit. The English Springer Spaniel Club of Southern California holds field trials, hunt tests, and fun days. The annual field trial is the first weekend of February in Porterville, CA. The hunt test dates vary, but have been in the late Spring for the past several years. SoCal also holds quarterly meetings, and an annual BBQ and election meeting in July. For information about this club, please contact Mike Leonetti. The English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association (the parent club of the breed) holds quarterly meetings. The annual meeting is held the 3rd weekend in February at rotating locations. For more information, see the Parent Club website. There is also a meeting in association with the National Amateur Field Trial Championship every year.
