We are not full-time professional breeders, but we plan to occasionally breed one of our females to see what she will produce and to provide ourselves new puppies for training. When we are not planning a litter, we would be more than happy to refer you to other conscientious breeders.
We check our breeding stock for eye and hip dysplasia, as well as for PFK. We only breed dogs with OFA Good or Excellent Hips, CERF clear eyes and PFK normal. We monitor puppies produced by our dogs to best make future breeding decisions. Stud service is available only to approved field line females with their health clearances as stated above, excellent temperaments, sound conformation and proven field ability, although not necessarily field trial titles.
When selling puppies, we will give preference to homes where the dogs will be in the house at least part of the time, in addition to being hunted and/or field trialed. We will also consider homes where the pups would be trained for agility. Field-bred Springers require ample exercise, both mental and physical, and they are not suited for homes that do not understand this. In homes that understand these requirements, they can be outstanding companions, full of affection and playfulness. Most pups will be sold on limited registration to insure that only dogs with breedable qualities and health are bred to continue the tradition of Springers in the field. Our pups range in price from $850-$1000, depending on the sire/dam and other factors. Even more occasionally we have a started pup or dog available. Started pups range $1,000-1,500. Started dogs are $3,000 and up.

He has a driving flush and outstanding marking ability. He was the #2 Puppy in the Nation in 2005. We expect a fantastic all-age career from him. His first litter was whelped in Sept 06 out of Hellfire's Hellwater "Navy" in MT. Drumbeat Solo Pursuit (FC/AFC Sunrise Bullet x FTW Drumbeat Dynamic Rhythm) is OFA-Good, CERF 2006, PFK Normal. He weighs about 48-50# of muscle and enthusiasm!

He is a proven producer of competitive field trial dogs, including an AFC and several other pending AFC/FCs, and excellent hunting dogs with wonderful run, nose, flushes, retrieving and kind temperaments. His sire is also a well-proven producer, from a litter that produced two National Champions (NFC KB's Sir Coach and NAFC Wild Irish Kelly). FC/AFC Surefire Major Winston (FC/AFC K's Surefire Zack x Rush Creek's Surefire Sue). In his prime, Winston weighed 46-48 pounds of solid muscle and is OFA-Good, CERF, PFK Normal. He has consistently produced normal hips. At 14+, Winston is still a fine gentleman, and truly a testament to the breed. He recently sired a litter born 4/9/07, as well as passed another CERF exam, eliminating any possiblity of late onset eye diseases.
